Angela Yvonne Hutcherson Skaggs, 93, of Buffalo, Kentucky went to be with the Lord

 Friday December 4, 2020 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She was a native of LaRue County where she graduated from Buffalo High School. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church since about 1940, and previously served as a 5th grade Sunday School class teacher and a choir member. After high school she worked at Buffalo Bank for a few years before getting married and starting a family. She became an accomplished homemaker with her cooking, canning and sewing skills. She enjoyed quilting, puzzle, flowers and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manley and Edna Despain Hutcherson, a daughter, Brenda Gayle Skaggs, two brothers, James and Roger Hutcherson.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Ernest Brown Skaggs of Buffalo, two sons, Wayne (Debbie) Skaggs, and Ron Skaggs both of  Hodgenville, three grandchildren, Michael Keith (Shanna) Skaggs,, Julie (Troy) Percefull, Thomas (Dawn) Russo, four great-grandchildren, Madeline Skaggs, Nicholas Kabalen, Caedmon Russo and Aidan Russo, a sister, Linda Sue Tharp, and  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She loved them all and will be missed so deeply by her family and friends.

Due to Covid,restrictions the family will have a private graveside service at Mt. Tabor Baptist  Church Cemetery.

Martha Beaven Bowling, 92, of New Haven, Kentucky went to be with her heavenly Father Monday November 30, 2020 at Lorette Motherhouse Infirmary in Nerinx, Kentucky.

She was born June 29, 1928 in Marion County to the late Hugh Mattingly and Irene Elizabeth Hamilton Beaven.

She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, she was very active in her familes activities, she was a member of the church choir, bereavement group, and  alter Society, she also worked at the New Hope Food Bank.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Charles W. Bowling Jr., a son Louis Bowling, one Brother, Hugh Beaven.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin Bowling, and Terry (Carol) Bowling, five daughters, Martha Ann (Wayne) Mattingly, Charlotte (Jim) Weaver, Barbara (Rodney) Burgin, Cecily (Bill)  Riley, and Laura (Michael) Corbett, fifteen grandchildren, Seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild, one brother, Bill Beaven, two sisters, Cecily Blair, and Julia Sims, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a private graveside service at St. Vincent DePaul, with Father Matthew Hardesty officiating.

It is recommended that all visitors wear a mask or face covering.

Richard Allen Perkins, 74, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky passed away Monday November 23, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville.

He was born Howardstown, Kentucky February 18, 1946 to the late Virgil Leo and Jennie Martin Perkins.

He was a loving father and grandfather, He retired from LG&E. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and going to car shows.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gilbert, Ray and Tommy Perkins, one sister, Geneva DeSpain Cecil.

Richard leaves behind a son, Bradley Todd Perkins of Hodgenville, two grandchildren, Bradley Todd (Megan) Perkins Jr., Benjamin Todd Perkins, two great-grandchildren, Keegan Todd Perkins, and Elizabeth Louise Perkins, the mother of his son, Dianne Brewer Perkins, one brother, Paul Perkins of Elizabethtown, five sisters, Ethel Lobb, Irene (Buddy) Sprowles, Bonnie (Eddie) Sanders, Patsy (Everett) Riggs all of Hodgenville, Juanita Shofner of Campbellsville, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to Covid, the family will have a private graveside service at Union Band Church Cemetery.

Anna Joyce Salsman Whitlock, 83, of Hodgenville died Wednesday November 11, 2020 in Louisville.

 Ann was born in Hodgenville May 8, 1937 to the late Linzey R. and Bessie May Hagen Salsman.

Ann was well known in the community from her treasured time as a nurse at Sunrise Manor and Hodgenville Clinic. She was beloved in Whitlock Hollow and by her large family. Ann was an avid gardener, canner and cook who never met a stranger and was a champion for LaRue County’s Relay for Life.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Donald Whitlock; a son, Greg Whitlock; a daughter, Theresa McDowell; and a grandson, Adam Whitlock, a sister, Stella Braden; two brothers, James “Jim” Salsman, and Robert “Bob” Salsman.

Ann leaves behind a son, Dwayne (Debbie) Whitlock, 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Due to Covid, the family will have a private graveside service and a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations can be made to the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery Fund.

Miles Anthony “Tony” Cambron, 73. Of Howardstown, Kentucky passed away April 23, 2020 in Whittmann Arizonia.

He retired from Bird & Son Vinyl in Bardstown, Kentucky, he loved hunting and fishing.

He was born April 14, 1947 in Howardstown, Kentucky to the late Arvil and Mary AlBina Cecil Cambron.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Cambron Greenwell and a brother-in-law, Joseph L. “Sonny” Greenwell.

He is survived a sister, Theresa (Don) Delay of Arizona, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen, burial will be at St. Ann’s cemetery in Howardstown.
