George  Edward “Eddie” Sullivan, 76, of Lyon Station, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday September 30, 2019 with his family by his side.

He was born June 28, 1943 in Jeffersonville to the late, George Gavin and Rachel Dawson Sullivan.

He served in the Air Force with four years of service as an E5, he was a member of the A.S.M. American Society of Mechanical Engineers, he was a member of the Thunder Bird Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Diana Newton Sullivan of Lyon Station, 

Two sons, Carl Edmond (Kimberly) Sullivan of Stamping Ground, Kentucky,

Gavin Blake ( Virginia) Sullivan of Shelbyville Kentucky.

A daughter, Ashley Colleen  (Matthew) Dicken of Goshen.

Five grandchildren, Trisha Anne Sullivan, Emily Kathryn Sullivan,

 Avery Karsyn Sullivan, Myles Bennett Sullivan, and Winston James Dicken,

Several Brother in laws and sister in laws, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for George Edward “Eddie” Sullivan will be held Friday October 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandra Catholic Church in New Haven, with Father Matthew Hardesty officiating, burial will follow in St. Catherine church cemetery.

Visitation for Eddie will be held at the William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel Thursday October 3, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. and will continue on Friday after 8:30 a.m. until time of service at the St. Catherine Church.

Wanda Sue Back Barga, 68, of Caneyville, Kentucky passed away Friday September 13, 2019 at her residence in Caneyville, Kentucky.

Wanda Sue Barga was born April 23, 1951 in Ohio to the late Hacker and Audrey Burton Back.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, she was a homemaker, she loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe Wallace, and a brother, Phil Back.

She is survived by her husband, Cletus Barga of Caneyville, a son, Patrick Barga of Ohio, two grandchildren, Audrey Taylor and Natalie Grace Barga, two brothers, Don (Debbie) Back of Florida, Travis (Cindy) Back of Ohio, one sister Judy (Mike) Price of Caneyville, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Wanda Sue Back Barga, will be held Monday September 16, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel in Hodgenville with Brother John Geary officiating, with burial at Marshall Family Cemetery in New Haven.

Visitation for Wanda Sue Barga will be held Monday September 16, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Jewell Dean Dobson Marasa, 80, of Hodgenville, Kentucky went to be with her Heavenly Father, Friday August 30, 2019 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville, Kentucky.

Jewell Dean Marasa was born in Larue County on August 7, 1939 to the late Harvey L. and Agnes Shoffner Dobson.

She retired from General Electric in the payroll department and went on to retire from Papa John’s serving in the payroll department. She loved her brother and sister in law and her great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her husband Dominic Emanuel Marasa, two brothers, William Lee and Lonnie Lewis Dobson, one sister, Genevieve Dobson.

She is survived by one brother, Wayne Edward (Anna Lee) Dobson of Hodgenville, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Grave side services for Jewell Dean Dobson Marasa will be held Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville with Father Pablo Hernandez officiating.

Visitation for Jewell Dean Marasa will be held Monday September 2, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday August 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service at Red Hill Cemetery.

Larry Dunn Williams, 80, Shepherdsville, Kentucky went to be with his Heavenly Father Thursday August 22, 2019 at Jewish Hospital South in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

Larry was born in LaRue County on December 14, 1938 to the late Jessie Virgil and Ora Katherine Dunn Williams.

He served his country with 3 years of service in the Army, he retired from Williams Monuments, he was an avid John Deer man, he loved his farm that he was raised on in Larue County, he thought the world of his friends and neighbors and all the care they showed him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Ora Dunn Williams, two brothers, Lyman and J.C. Williams.

He is survived by two brothers, Winford (Wilma) Williams of Hodgenville, and Lewis Williams of Buffalo, three sisters, Juanita Sprowles of Hodgenville, Imogene Williams of Lexington, and Jeanette Green of Springfield Ill., several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Larry Dunn Williams will be held Friday August 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating, with burial to follow in Union Christian Church Cemetery in Hodgenville.

Visitation for Larry D. Williams will be held Thursday August 29, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. and will continue on Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.

Rouns Derlin Pence, 82 of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday August 18, 2019 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

He was born March 10, 1937 in Grayson County to the late James and Lucille Fulkerson Pence.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Smith Pence,of Hodgenville, one son, Rouns (Robin ) Pence of Hodgenville, one grandson, Coleman Pence.

In keeping with his wishes he chose cremation, there will be no service or visitation at this  time.
